Seattle author, funny modern dad and JT News columnist Ed Harris was born in New York, and has lived in the US, Israel and the Netherlands. He is regarded by his friends and loved ones as a nudge, a Yiddish word that does not have a direct English language equivalent, and used to characterize someone who is particularly annoying. He didn't set out to become a funny modern dad. But he grew up surrounded by Jewish humor and Jewish books, and somehow they fermented inside his brain during his youth, causing him eventually to become a Seattle Jewish author.
